My favorite places to go on dates

I’m a girl who loves to be wined and dined, but even a date night at home with grocery store sushi and a silly movie can make me feel just as loved as a fancy dinner date. I have compiled a list of all the cheap dates my husband and I enjoy taking when the budget is low but the love is still strong.

This first one is what my husband and I do when we are flat broke but want to get out of the house.

1. The Pet Store.  I know you’re probably thinking, “Sophie, what?” but let me tell you walking through the pet store to look at the fancy fish or even play with the shelter puppies has always been a cheap easy date.

 2. Library and coffee

3. Sushi and a movie at home. Our local Kroger has real sushi chefs employed to make cheap but delicious sushi we can pig out on while binging whatever is on Hulu.

4. Just desert. Occasionally I'll make a fancy homemade dinner and we go get cake from some posh downtown restaurant.

5. Quick walk through the Occult Shoppes. I collect a lot of crystals and spiritual trinkets, every now and then hubby surprises me with a new book or set of cards while we look at new materials for upcoming rituals.

6. Evening stroll through the park. On warm nights we enjoy just walking and looking at the stars, occasionally we see shooting stars or baby bats taking their first flights.

7. Thrift Shopping and Lunch.

8. Rain Showers under the Sunroof
